Robert Mills, Commercial Director DHL MENA presents the cheque to Tamer Fakhro, right, Bahrain Sharks team Captain.DHL has sponsored the Bahrain Sharks Hockey Team enabling their participation in two key regional tournaments. The team, which will be led by Bahraini Captain Tamer Fakhro will head to Doha on the 8th – 10th of March to participate in the 7th annual CNA-Q Desert Cup and then to Dubai to participate in the Mighty Camels Cup 2012 on April 19th – 21st.
The 15 player team is made up of Bahrainis and Bahrain residents from Canada, Russia, USA and Australia and has won several regional titles including Champions of the Dubai Mighty Camels Cup 2010, and Champions of the Desert Cup Doha in 2010 and 2011.
