The opening, which was held at the University campus in Sakhir, saw the attendance of a number of representatives from the university and from the various companies participating in the exhibition.
As Gold Sponsor of Career Day 2012, this makes it the 12th year that the company has supported the event, which is scheduled to run until the 7th of March. This sponsorship comes from Batelco’s commitment to support education in the Kingdom. Career Day is an ideal opportunity for university students to learn about job opportunities in the telecommunications sector and labour market development in general. Batelco is hosting a stand at the event where industry experts are available to answer questions and give advice based on their years of experience in their respective fields.
Batelco Bahrain Chief Executive Rashid Abdulla expressed Batelco’s delight to support the Career Day event.
