In line with his keen interest to follow up closely on the latest economic development in the kingdom, industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro has paid a visit to the Gulf Hotel.
Upon arrival, the Minister and his accompanying delegation from the Ministry’s officials, was welcomed by the hotel’s Director-General Garfield Jones, and other officials.
The Minister toured the hotel’s facilities and was informed by Mr. Garfield Jones on the level of its occupancy and bookings, asserting that they are normal, and that functions organized by local and foreign sides at the hotel will continue.
He also predicted that demand will increase during the Kingdom’s hosting of the F1 race thanks to the agreements signed with the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Mumtalakat to accommodate visitors during functions hosted by the country.
Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro expressed the government’s appreciation to the hotel officials for their constant keenness to project a good image of the Kingdom by providing the best services for tourists and customers.
