Foreign Ministry undersecretary Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla today addressed the Nuclear Non-proliferation in the Gulf Conference, being held at George Town University in Doha in cooperation with the US-British Security Council and Qatar’s Foreign Ministry.
Abdulla stressed the importance of the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT), in promoting global peace and security, calling for the Middle East to be free from weapons of mass destruction, including the Arabian Gulf region.
