(UNIDO)’s Arab Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investment Training (ARCEIT) chairperson Shaikh Ibrahim bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa attended. Ms. Al-Ansari and Unido Investment Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) head Dr. Hashim Hussain signed a memorandum of understating to train the beneficiaries of the women’s economic empowerment programme.
Al-Ansari stressed the importance of partnership with all concerned parties to carry out the principles endorsed in the National Action Charter and the Constitution, in cooperation with ministries, public enterprises and civil society institutions. She also stressed the need to reach out to UN agencies concerned with women empowerment to gain expertise.
