Bahrain tonight denied arresting two US residents along with the saboteurs and thugs accused of plotting the terror blast which targeted policemen at Al-Ekar Village.
It issued a statement refuting baseless allegations posted on social media sites and on media channels.
“Policemen on duty in the area stopped two US Nationals last Sunday at 5.30 pm but it turned out they lost their way”, Central Police director-general said. He pointed out that the two US nationals did have valid residency ensuring them free movement across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“That was a separate incident which had nothing to do with the terror blast which targeted policemen on April9”, he said.
