Bernie Ecclestone said that Formula 1 teams have not shown any security worries regarding Bahrain F1 competition, which is organized for 20-22 April 2012.
He added that there are no signs to abandon this year’s race would be held as planned.
Ecclestone confirmed that the race organizers have been reassured by Bahraini officials and F1 delegated teams to Bahrain that all circumstances will be suitable to hold the race as scheduled.
He explained that he couldn’t deprive Bahrain from holding the race, it is up to the Bahraini side to cancel it, but the officials there look very keen to have this sport parade held in their country, moreover we have a formal contract with the Bahrainis we should abide by.
