Reforms process will continue: HK King Hamad

HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa receives the RCO delegation led by its Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and several organization officials along with mothers and orphans.

The attendees extended their thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King on his continued support and care towards further developing the work of the RCO to provide the best possible services for all those who need it.

At the outset of the meeting His Majesty thanked RCO officials on their humanitarian care for orphans who had benefited greatly from the services provided by the organization.

He also emphasized that in current times both the adult compete with the young and vice-versa but respecting those older was vital and that science was reachable to all. Moreover, he emphasized that organization officials worked towards achieving the set objective aimed towards educational benefits for all and that education was the most important weapon in life.

He said that all were talented in some field or another and that can be seen in the abundance of thinkers and creative people in the Bahraini society. His Majesty the King indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain was valuable with its people and a pioneer in various fields dating back to thousands of years. These fields he said included trade and commerce that have gained a good reputation in the region.

Meanwhile, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended his thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Nasser and all RCO employees for their noble humanitarian contributions and their efforts being exerted towards providing the best care for the orphans.

In addition to that His Majesty the King gave directives to develop further child medical care and establishing a specialized hospital for children and the increase of child clinics. This he said should be doing in coordination with official bodies in the country. His Majesty stressed that such initiatives were spearheaded by the care in providing the best services for citizens in the health, educational and housing fields.

Shaikh Nasser extended his thanks and appreciation for the continued support by His Majesty the King for the RCO efforts and various activities that it undertakes in serving orphans and widows. Shaikh Nasser also briefed his Majesty the King on the achievements accomplished by the RCO both on a local and international level. At the conclusion of his speech Shaikh Nasser present His Majesty the King with the RCO’s 2011 report.
