Takaful Re, one of the leading Re-Takaful providers in the region, announced the finalization of its 4th Family Takaful Workshop. The workshop, which took place at Millennium Plaza Hotel, Dubai, tackled various topics including the Malaysian Experience in Family Takaful; role of Actuaries in Life and Medical for Takaful Operators; challenges for developing a successful Family Takaful Operation; how to select a Retakaful Partner and overview of the global Takaful industry.
The Workshop is an integral part of Takaful Re’s strategy and commitment of developing the Takaful Industry and especially the Family Takaful Business. Thirty five participants attended the event coming from 11 countries in Far East Asia, Indian Sub-continent, GCC and North Africa.
“The success of the Takaful Industry is dependent on the success of the Family Takaful. Our Annual Workshop is an interactive brainstorming event for all our clients to update them with what’s happening in other developed Takaful markets, like Malaysia,” Tamer Saher, Assistant Director – Family and Medical Retakaful, said.
