CID launches manhunt for criminals behind bombings

The General Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) has made a list public of twenty criminals involved in a series of terror bombings after permission was obtained from the Public Prosecution to circulate their names and photos in order to help expedite their arrest.

The CID’s General Director explained that extensive investigation efforts point out that the accused persons had manufactured and detonated home-made bombs and committed callous criminal acts of terrorism which led to civilian and police injuries and scared citizens and residents both at home and on the roads, adding that the criminals involved in these acts have been identified reliant upon statements made by arrestees involved in the same crimes and tips and criminal evidence gathered and after performing the requisite procedures they were summoned by the security and public prosecution but failed to present themselves and who are still at large.

The authorities continue extensive search operations to implement the orders issued from the Public Prosecution and bring the following persons before justice. The wanted criminals include: Hassan Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Mu’allim: a 38-year old employer wanted for his involvement in two cases; Ja’ffar Ahmed Nasser Jum’a: a 29-year old employee wanted for his involvement in six cases; Mahdi Ebrahim Jasim Abdullah Abbas, 23 year-old employee wanted for involvement in two cases; Ebrahim Abdulnabi Hassan Ali 32 year-old employee wanted for involvement in two cases; Hassan Mahdi Hassan Saeed, 20-year old student wanted for involvement in one case; Hussain Isa Mohammed Isa Adam, 21-year old employee wanted for involvement in one case; Yasseen Abdulwahid Yusif Al-Ghanimi 32-year old employee wanted for involvement in three cases; Hussain Ahmed Abdudllah Ahmed Hussain 23-year old employee wanted for involvement in three cases; Yusif Abdulkareem Yusif Ahmed 25year old employee wanted for involvement in one case; Abdulsadig Ali Habib Ali Ahmed 38-year old employee wanted for involvement in one case; Abdullah Abdulamir Abdullah Al-Mughni 21-year old wanted for involvement in three cases; Ridha Hassan Jasim Abdulnabi 26-year old employer wanted for involvement in three cases; Ali Abbas Hassan Al-Asfoor 18-year old student wanted for involvement in two cases; Jalal Abbas Hassan Al-Asfoor 19-year old student wanted for involvement in two cases; Hussain Yusif Ahmed Ali Zayed 24-year old employee wanted for involvement in three cases; Hassan Ali Hussain Al-Attiyya 21-year old student wanted for involvement in two cases; Ebrahim Mohammed Habib Ali Al-Asfoor 26-year old employee wanted for involvement in two cases; Al-Sayed Dhia Alawi Nasser Mohsen 28-year old employee wanted for involvement in two cases; Ahmed Mohammed Habib Ali Al-Asfoor 23-year old employee wanted for involvement in two cases and Hussain Ali Mohammed Hassan Baddau 28-year old employee wanted for involvement in one case.

The CID’s General Director urges everybody who has information which would help in arresting those wanted criminals to promptly provide the information to the nearest Police Directorate or Police Station or call Toll Free Telephone No.: 80008008

The CID’s General Director warned against hiding any of those wanted criminals against criminal liability under the law and accentuated that anyone who has committed a crime against the community and the homeland shall never escape fair justice and deterrent penalization.
