Russell Investments, the global asset manager and one of only a few firms that offer actively managed, multi-asset portfolios and services that include advice, investments and implementation, has received an award for “Best Group over 3 years in the Gulf” in the Equity category in the prestigious Lipper Fund Awards Program from Thomson Reuters.
The Lipper Awards recognize and honor funds, hedge funds and fund management firms that have surpassed their peers in delivering consistently strong, risk-adjusted performance.
Individual Russell funds also won awards in the 3, 5 and 10 year categories. The “Russell MMF Global 35 Multi Manager A” won awards for Best Fund over 3 years and 5 years in the Mixed Asset classification, while the “Russell IC Emerging Markets Equity A” was named Best Fund over 5 years and Best Fund over 10 years in the Equity Emerging Markets Global category in addition to “Russell IC Japan Equity A” won award for Best Fund over 10 years Equity Japan.

The Lipper Fund Awards take place in 23 countries in Asia, Europe, MENA and the Americas and the award winners are formally announced between January and April of each year.
