H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein receiving memento from Chairman of KHCB, Dr. Fuad Al Omar in presence of other officials
Khaleeji Commercial Bank, (KHCB), hosted a lunch in honor of H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the LGT Group Foundation; the largest family-owned private wealth and asset manager in Europe, and discussed the Bank, Bahrain’s vibrant banking sector and the Kingdom’s significant investment potential.

Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), a progressive Bahrain-based Islamic retail and investment bank, received H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein, a member of the royal family of the Principality of Liechtenstein; a country known for its strong financial sector and high quality of living, at its headquarters in Bahrain.

During the visit to KHCB, H.S.H. Prince Philipp was given a tour of the Bank’s modern facilities; visiting the Bank’s main offices and branch at the Bahrain Financial Harbour. He was also updated on the Bank’s successful branch network and delivery channel expansion, and briefed on recently launched commercial banking products. He praised KHCB’s customer-centric focus and the use of state of the art banking technology to offer greater customer convenience and 24/7 services.

As well as discussing the positive growth of the Bank, the board of directors and executive management of KHCB discussed various topics over a luncheon; including Bahrain’s international recognition as an advanced and transparent banking sector and the Kingdom’s standing as the financial hub of the Middle East. H.S.H Prince Phillip lauded the Central Bank of Bahrain for its innovative and transparent regulation of the banking sector in the Kingdom and expressed his wishes for the Kingdom’s further prosperity.

“KHCB is honored to welcome H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein to our offices. This visit was a wonderful opportunity to build relationships and communicate the business friendly ethos of Bahrain,” Chairman of KHCB, Dr. Fuad Al Omar, said.

The visit of H.S.H Prince Philipp to KHCB’s headquarters is testament to the Bank’s commitment to supporting the economy of Bahrain. Through building international relationships, that promote positive dialogue about the Kingdom, the Bank endeavors to encourage foreign investor interest and facilitate international business.

H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein was equally positive about the visit. “I want to thank KHCB for welcoming me into their offices and I look forward to growing our relationship. This visit has underscored my appreciation of Bahrain’s sophisticated financial sector and further increased my confidence in doing business here.”
