Batelco announced the winners of its ongoing SMS Competition. Batelco launched its exciting SMS competition on April 26th, giving its mobile customers the chance to be one of the 60 lucky customers to win a total of $115,500 prizes in cash.
Throughout the competition, there will be 51 daily winners of $500 cash prizes, 8 weekly winners of $5,000 cash prizes and one very lucky winner who will walk away with the grand prize of $50,000 on June 26th.
The first winners of the competition from the beginning up to May 22nd have been announced. The winners of $500 each are Hussain Abdulla Hussain, Ahmed Ali Abdulla, Khalil Ebrahim Hijris, Najeya Alasam, Moh’d Yousif Bahadur, Melcah Pascua, William Shoemaker, Prasanth Nampullmelekkalam, Alsayed Ahmed Masood, Sudhahar Sundaram, Parameswaran Nair, Moh’d Nasrulla Husain, Jorisadmai Angalan, Mohammed Salman Ahmed, Nadia Ebrahim Alsekri, Noof Mohd Shaheen, Alistair Garland, Anil Bhagwan, Magdy Soliman, Amal Al Sada, Huang Tien Shiung, Eman Mansoori and Mohammed Ali Al Watani. The lucky winners of $5000 are Suad Sulaiman Abdulaziz, Sudhahar Sundaram, Mohammed Ali Al Watani and Kunhabdulla Cheeniullapara. Both Sudharar Sundaram and Mohammed Ali Al Watani were doubly lucky by scooping prizes of $500 and $5000.
Batelco customers can participate in the competition by simply SMSing ‘B’ to 95555. For each correct answer, the participants will earn 20 points, while incorrect or invalid answers will give them 10 points. Additionally, customers will receive one full track of music from Rotana or wallpaper for every SMS sent. Cost of participation is 400 fils per SMS.
