NBB announced the Alwatani Savings Scheme winners for the month of May 2012 at a draw held at the Bank premises in Manama.
The winners, who won US$ 7878.78 each, were, Issam Rashad Mohamed Ali El Kazzaz, Mohamed Saleem Nazir Ahmad, Ebrahim Hasan Mohamed Saleh Abdulla, Madaina Ali A. Shamlan, Laeqah A. Jalil Isa Al Khoor, and Eid Khlif Al Rabaie. NBB’s Al Watani Savings was the pioneer of saving schemes in the Kingdom. The new prize scheme offers a massive Mega Prize ofUS $ 787878.78 to be won by 7 winners. This Mega Prize would be given out in two separate draws – One to be held during September and the other will be held in January 2013.
The Al Watani Savings scheme endeavours to make it easy for customers to save and win attractive prizes. Customers do not need to open a separate account or buy certificates. All savings account balances of customers are automatically included for the prizes. Furthermore, customers who have SaveWave accounts are also eligible for all the prizes. In order to provide almost every customer a chance to win the exciting prizes on offer, a minimum of BD 50 in any account is all that is needed to be eligible.

“Draws for the prizes will be held each month. Customers who maintain an average monthly balance of BD 1,000 and above will be eligible to participate in the mega prize draws and all monthly draws. Customers with balance of BD50 and above are eligible to participate for the monthly draws,” he added.
