Works Minister Essam Abdulla Khalaf, Southern Governor Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and other officials attended the inaugural ceremony.
Dr. Al-Kaabi extended thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for patronizing the opening of Askar fishing port.
He also thanked the Ministry of Works for its strenuous efforts to constructing the fishing port according to plans, congratulating Askar, Jaw and Al-Dour villagers, particularly the fishing community on the new infrastructure facility. Shura Council member Juma’a bin Mohammed Al-Kaabi, MP Khamis Al-Romaihi and Southern Municipal Councillor Nasser Said Al-Mansouri also addressed the opening ceremony.
