The General Director of Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate has announced that the specialised security officials are probing the circumstances in which the child Ahmed Mansoor and his father were injured yesterday when the security forces were dealing with a number of outlaws in Al-Dair.
He pointed out that the necessary legal procedures are being taken to provide the child with medical treatment abroad.
He explained that a number of outlaws had blocked the way into the region which forced the security forces to intervene and ask them to disperse but they did not obey and continued to break the law and hurl iron rods, Molotov cocktails and stones at the police patrols.
He added that the necessary legal measures were taken to handle the situation, pointing out that the vandals are held responsible for what is happening to innocent people in Bahrain as they deliberately carry out their subversive acts in residential areas, thus terrorizing people, threatening their life and endangering public and private properties.
The General Director stressed that the police forces will never hesitate to take all legal measures to maintain security and stability and confront acts of violence and sabotage.
