Al Ghurair Centre had also partnered with Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) to offer shoppers a chance to win prizes every week by shopping for Dh200 at any of the outlets.

“I extend our sincere appreciation and ongoing support to Dubai Events & Promotions Establishment. Al Ghurair Centre’s experience with DSS has been consistently rewarding as the event continues to grow in stature being the biggest summer shopping extravaganza in the Middle East. This DSS, shoppers experienced the best-in-class entertainment, promotions and attractive savings at Al Ghurair Centre. In addition, there will be exciting activities to engage in and diverse entertainment for all ages,” Salem Al Ghurair, Chief Executive Officer, Al Ghurair Centre, said.

During the DSS, Al Ghurair Centre transformed into a magical water theme, with creatively planned decorations and innovative play areas. From 21st June to 1st July, Al Ghurair Centre featured the trademark Barbie show – ‘I can be a Fashion Designer’. The show provided children a chance to watch and learn on how to sparkle their own style on the runway. There were also engaging workshops featuring water painting, boat making and arts and crafts; and a ‘Toddler’s Park’, a special soft play area for toddlers.

Children were also bale to enroll for free in the special ‘Roll and Bake’ activity with Cinnabon, the world’s leading cinnamon chain, and receive a participation certificate.
