CBB sukuk al-ijara oversubscribed 200%

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the new issue of the long term Islamic leasing, no 19, Sukuk Al-Ijara, has been oversubscribed by 200%.

Subscriptions worth BD320.310 million were received for the BD160 million issue, which carries a maturity of five years.

The expected return on the issue, which begins on 17 July 2012 and matures on 17 July 2017, is 4.30%.

The Sukuk Al-Ijara was issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This is issue no BH00061F9969 of the long-term Sukuk Al-Ijara series.
