This came during chairing the 17th joint committee meeting to facilitate the procedures and transaction in both industrial and commercial sectors in presence a number of government officials and agencies concerned as well as private sector representatives.
Dr. Fakhro confirmed the importance of regular meeting with the committee to remove the obstacles that impede economic activity in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its role in attracting investors and encouraging young people to engage in this vital sector. He noted Ministry’s keenness to follow up on all issues and matters related to those sectors and stand on any problem or issue that may arise.
The meeting reviewed many developments of topics contained in the previous meeting including, the new company law which the concerned authorities are almost done with it. During the meeting, Korean Company who is in charge of Commercial Registration System project gave a visual presentation and they reviewed projects stages and the object of next stages which would develop the system and help business in the Kingdom and leads delivery speed, and this is the most important element for attracting investment and investors. They also reviewed during the meeting role of services bodies in the Bahrain International Investment Park.
Committee members expressed their appreciations for the great efforts made by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in order to facilitate business and industrial activity in the Kingdom.
