Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Vice Admiral John Miller, Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, Fifth Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces and wished him success in his duties.
He stressed the importance of joint coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States regarding regional issues towards bolstering bilateral relations.
He described Bahrain’s relations with global powers as crucial for the Kingdom to bolster its stability, promote its role in the international community and boost its economic development. US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Stephanie Williams attended the meeting.
