He said that after reviewing the security plans and the law on public assemblies, it was decided not to grant permission for the requested rally, explaining that holding it in such a vital location, including vital economic establishments, at such timing will hinder the traffic, undermine security and harm public interests.
Al-Hassan stressed that the rally was illegal, and therefore legal action would be taken against violators.
