HRH the Premier also ordered the ministry of industry and commerce and the ministry of municipalities and urban planning affairs to assess the losses and damages and submit an urgent report.
Chaired by the Interior Ministry, the probe committee will include concerned parties to gauge the causes of the fire which inflicted massive losses on the traditional souq.
HRH the Premier deplored the incident which gutted the souq, being a traditional hub for owners of small businesses. He lauded the security authorities for their efforts to put out the fire and limit losses.
