Kuwaiti Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber A-Mubarak Al-Sabah attended.
The Kuwaiti leader welcomed HRH the Premier, lauding his role in bolstering deep-rooted fraternal relations and strengthening cooperation.
He voiced satisfaction at the advanced level of bilateral relations and the steadily-growing cooperation in all fields, reaffirming his country’s resolve to back all steps aimed at achieving the aspirations of both brotherly peoples towards more complementary cooperation
He also underscored HRH the Premier’s pioneering and pivotal role in promoting the Bahrain-Kuwaiti relations, describing bilateral ties as representing a model to emulate.
HRH the Premier hailed model relations bonding both countries and peoples at all levels, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness on promoting cooperation towards achieving mutual interests and backing the GCC.
He expressed thanks to Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, wishing the State of Kuwait further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
“We will never forget Kuwait’s honourable stances in support of Bahrain’s development projects”, HRH the Premier said.
The two leaders discussed regional and international issues and their impact on the region, stressing the necessity to back all efforts aimed at promoting the GCC constructive and fruitful march for the six-member bloc to have more leverage on regional and global challenges.
Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah then hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of HRH the Premier and his accompanying delegation. Senior members of the Ruling Family, ministers and senior officials attended.
