Director of the Geographical Information Directorate, Dr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Al Leheidan said that the Central Informatics and Communications Organization would organize a workshop for the World Union Open Spatial information (OGC) on Tuesday September 18.
The workshop would be held in Crowne Plaza Hotel under the patronage of the Head of the Central Informatics and Communications Organization, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Aamer, which would be attended by approximately 120 specialists from the relevant agencies in Kingdom.
Dr. Khalid added that the workshop “Open Geospatial Consortium” stressed the high prestige of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of Geographical Information system, pointing out that it would be presented by an American expert from the Geospatial Consortium Union (OGC).
