Ebrahim K. Kanoo, the sole distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Bahrain, received the WEC Toyota Racing Team who has just arrived to Bahrain to race their 6th round at the BIC on September 30th 2012.
Following a brief introduction of EKK operations across the Kingdom, the team was invited to tour the one stop shop for all the Toyota and Lexus customers, the Toyota Plaza in Tubli. At the end of the tour, the team expressed their admiration of the extravagant and elegant design and praised the high quality standards and the wide array of the services offered to the Toyota & Lexus customers in Bahrain. The visit was concluded by EKK officials offering their sincere victory wishes to the WEC Toyota Racing Team.
The race in Bahrain comes after the unprecedented victory at the Six Hours race in Sao Paulo, during the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship. Toyota Racing Team paved their way to success with Toyota Supra in 2007, when it became the first-ever hybrid winner, in the Tokachi 24 Hours. That pioneering super capacitor technology has been extensively developed, reducing weight and increasing power, leading to the unique powertrain in the TS030 Hybrid.
