Shaikh Khalid reviewed with Dr Al Zayani the preparation related to organizing the 125th preliminary ministerial meeting for the GCC Supreme Council meeting to be held end of December in Manama.
The Foreign Minister also discussed with the GCC Secretary General the most important topics set for the ministerial meeting’s work agenda and that is topped by a number of economic, trade, cultural and social joint projects such as the single currency and GCC joint market and petroleum strategy, and a unified framework for presenting financial stocks in the GCC and the unified system for the protection of marine resources. Within the is context the Foreign Minister lauded the great efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia during its chairing of the GCC council in its 32nd session that was reflected in the speedy action towards achieving joint GCC accomplishments in various fields. Moreover, several regional and international topics were also discussed during the meeting.
