Menatelecom subscriber base reaches 80,000

Menatelecom, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain) and the provider of the most powerful internet service in the Kingdom, has emerged the second largest provider for the broadband services with subscriber base exceeding 80,000.
The milestone has been achieved in just four years since its entry into the Broadband market in Bahrain.

“We managed to acquire a significant share of the Broadband market to achieve the position of the second largest provider of internet services in Bahrain and I am delighted that our subscribers’ base has exceeded 80,000 customers,” Abdul Razak Jawahery Chairman of Menatelecom, said.

“Menatelcom’s strategy focuses on applying the latest technological solutions in order to provide high quality services which led to attracting new customers. We are glad to see that our customers are increasing day by day,” he added.

“We are moving from strength to strength to achieve new milestones as we are approaching our 4th Broadband anniversary since entering the Bahraini market. Menatelecom is committed to provide new innovative services that suit the needs and expectations of today’s market; furthermore we are continuously expanding our Cell Sites in order to satisfy our growing customer base and expand into new areas in the Kingdom,” he added.

Menatelecom successfully launched two highly attractive value added promotions, one for Residential Broadband customers and the other, the most attractive Business Broadband Packages and Promotional offer for existing & new corporate clients.

Menatelecom customers will benefit from new Residential packages, with a reduced cost of its WiFi-enabled routers by 14% to enable subscribers in acquiring the latest WiFi routers at a very attractive price.

With Unlimited Browsing on all its packages, a free telephone line and many other benefits, Menatelecom are looking towards increasing its Residential customer base significantly.

Menatelecom caters to all forms of business requirements and now, they will benefit from new packages that offer upgrades automatically with boosted upload speeds at no extra cost. Menatelecom’s business solutions range from secure VPN links for banks, to remote surveillance systems and CCTV solutions in addition to full telecommunications solutions for many of the largest companies from Bahrain’s various business sectors.

MenaBusiness solutions include dedicated high-speed internet service with unlimited downloads and speeds up to 150Mb in addition to VPN solutions; Carrier Pre-Select Service (CPS); International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC); International Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Data Centre Hosting to name a few of the solutions offered, and all this is monitored by a Network Operations Centre working 24/7 to ensure a seamless operation, supported by a dedicated business helpdesk.

Customers switching to the Menatelecom network will receive even further added value benefits, whereas they receive unlimited free calls to all Menatelecom numbers in addition to lower rates of up to 30% on all international calls.

KFH-Bahrain is continuously supporting Menatelecom, which is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank by ensuring that it leads the way in offering the latest technologies available. The first milestone was when Menatelecom became the first telecommunication company in the world to launch nationwide 16e WiMax internet services.
Menatelecom has 7 branches around the Kingdom of Bahrain located at GOSI Complex, Muharraq, Country Mall – Budaiya, Hamad Town, Isa Town Mall, Riffa, KFH Automall in Sitra and soon opening its eighth branch in Enma Mall.
