HRH Premier also stressed the importance of preserving national achievements and building on them through fruitful cooperation that advances the homeland and optimizes the citizens’ gains, expressing the government’s keenness to support MPs to achieve their electoral programmes, out of its belief that the programmes on which election candidates are elected to the Parliament represent a list of the citizens’ needs.
This came as HRH Prime Minister received at his court today the “Bahrain” parliamentary bloc, led by MP Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati.
During the meeting, HRH Premier exchanged opinions and visions with members of the bloc on issues on which the Executive and Legislative branches agree, regarding the need to improve the citizens’ living standards and upgrade the quality of the services provided to them, noting that the kingdom is on the eve of a development and services boom that will be consolidated through the GCC Development Fund, which, he asserted, will help generate new job opportunities, boost economic activities and improve services and infrastructure.
HRH Premier also called upon parliamentary blocs to assume their responsibilities and support the government’s strategy and efforts to promote security and stability across the kingdom given the fact that security is a public demand requiring the participation of all sides, hailing the “Bahrain” bloc’s initiatives to respond to fallacies and misleading information about the kingdom and efforts to refute misinformation and highlight facts.
Members of the “Bahrain” bloc commended HRH Premier’s constant support for increasing cooperation between the government and the National Assembly, keen interest in parliamentary work and instructions to ministers and government sides to cooperate constructively with the Legislative Branch.
They also praised the landmark achievements attained by the kingdom thanks to HRH Premier’s wise vision and enlightened leadership, which, they said, gained him successive international honouring in recognition of his continuous efforts to achieve sustainable development and build a modern society, which entitled the Kingdom to be a model to be followed in all fields.
