His Royal Highness who was speaking during a lunch hosted in his honour by UK Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs Alistair Burt said that all types of violence must be condemned. Meanwhile, both sides reviewed Bahraini-British relations and UK Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs highlighted the deep-rooted and historic ties existing between the two countries.
He also emphasized the need to continue to develop further these relations in various fields. Present at the meeting were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Follow-up at the Royal Court Shaikh Ahmed bin Attiyatallah Al Khalifa, Advisor of Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Crown Prince Court and Bahrain’s ambassador to Britain Alice Samaan.
