In order to check market’s movement and the availability of food and consumers goods required and to stand up on the latest development of the local markets, Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro inspected yesterday morning Lulu hypermarket in Hidd in addition to Movenpic Hotel in Muharraq and City Centre Mall.
During his inspection visit, the minister was briefed on the availability of goods and products that are high in demand by consumers. He stressed markets’ owners to provide all the requirements under one roof and at reasonable prices.
Dr. Fakhro was briefed on promotional campaigns on many materials and consumer goods. In this regard, Regional Director of Lulu Hypermarket Juzer Roopwala confirmed that promotions will continue according to a promotional program adopted by the market continuously throughout the year.
Dr. Fakhro visited Movenpic Hotel in Muharraq, where he was received by hotel general manager Heinz. The Minister confirmed government’s keen to hotel sector, which is one of the most important foundation of tourism and the main artery of tourism industry in the Kingdom.
Dr. Fakhro praised hotel sectors and stressed the need to cooperate and enhance mutual relation among them in order to attract investment and tourism in the Kingdom.
