Invest in Bahrain 2012” forum is consider a series of investment forum that is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and one of the importance promotional mechanisms that the Ministry aims through it to attract investment to the Kingdom of Bahrain and confirm Kingdom’s capabilities competitive and productivity.
This year the forum characterized the existence of cooperation and coordination between poles and bodies of GCC in organizing this event which will take part in its work the Ministry of Culture, BCCI, EDB, Central Bank of Bahrain, Tamkeen, GOIC, Federation of GCC Chambers. It is expected to attend the forum a large number of businessmen and businesswomen and investors from the Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC and Arab and international such as India, Singapore, China, Japan, Germany and Philippines.
The Ministry said that “Invest in Bahrain 2012” Forum will set an new investment opportunities in various sectors such as plastic, fibreglass, and minerals, in addition to investment opportunities in the tourism sector in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture to enhance joint programs aimed at developing various tourist fields.
The Ministry also collaborated with Al Bayan Media Group to organize an exhibition on the sidelines of the forum with participation of many national companies to see leading national industries offered by Bahraini factories and promote the regionally and internationally.
Invest in Bahrain” Forum is classified as an important tool and process adopted by the Ministry since 2003 to identify the advantages and investment potentials in the Kingdom.
The Forum play a major role in introducing potential and industrial sector reality in the Kingdom in term of diverse industrial base and great development achieved by industrial projects through high volume production.
The Ministry is keen through this forum to communicate between decision-makers from government and the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad and open dialogues that helps in making appropriate decisions and remove obstacles facing investment in general.
