When it comes to citizens’ security, nothing can be expected from the government but strictness and decisiveness as it is unacceptable to keep silent at threatening the safety of the majority of citizens by a group that veered off the right path, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, said.
HRH Premier paid tribute to popular support to the government’s efforts to boost security and stability in Bahrain, describing it as a source of pride and a reflection of citizens’ keenness on national security and stability.
HRH was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace senior officials, in the presence of Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh.
HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that the government will never allow sabotage to affect the services provided for the people, saying that development is going on and will not be stopped.
He called on ministries and governmental bodies to adopt new visions and approaches to develop old areas and revive them.
He also pointed out the importance of developing service utilities, infrastructure and sewage networks in support to the investment sector and to ensure the well-being of citizens.
He directed ministries to keep the people updated on progress of citizen-oriented government projects to improve living standards.
HRH said that delay in executing such projects is unacceptable, issuing directives to develop the southern areas and support them with the needed services and facilities.
HRH stressed the importance of cooperation to maintain regional security and stability, which has become a public and official demand, especially amid plots to undermine it.
He also asserted that the GCC countries have a common goal and destiny, adding that they represent one entity and no country is immune from the danger posed to another
HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that consensus is the solution to face regional security and economic challenges.
