She also highlighted the importance of the flow of information and using them in the media messages delivered by the ambassadors when transferring their countries issues.
During the lecture she delivered under the title: “Towards a better strategy for dealing with the external media,” during the events of the first annual conference for ambassadors, which kicked off on Saturday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister addressed the international politics in the world and the new projects in the region, pointing out that those policies require constant interaction with the external media, as well as human rights organizations.
Samira Rajab considered the media and human rights organizations are the most prominent soft elements of power in the formation of new policies in the region.
Talking about the media role of the Embassies, the Minister said that the role of the Embassy requires considering the issues of concern to the Kingdom of Bahrain, establishing relationships with journalists, organizing press conferences, in addition to updating its electronic website.
The Minister pointed out that the reform project, which its foundations were laid down by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa contributed to overcome the tragic events witnessed by the Kingdom in 2011, highlighting the freedoms enjoyed by the Bahraini citizen, which are ensured by the Constitution and legislation. She also called the ambassadors to the need of employing those facts and information in the media platforms of the host countries.
At the end of the workshop, there was an exchange of views and perspectives between the ambassadors of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Minister of State for Media Affairs about the most important issues and developments.
