He was welcomed on his arrival by Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
Shaikh Khalid hailed strong relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.
He said that Bahrain is looking forward to hosting the 33rd GCC Summit to achieve tangible results that reflect Gulf leaders’ visions and peoples’ aspirations. Shaikh Khalid also hailed the contribution of the Sultanate of Oman to the GCC joint march.
