His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, senior Ruling Family members, Speaker of the Representatives Council, Chairman of the Shura Council, Secretary-General of the GCC Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, ministers, the Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain, Southern Governor, Senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force, Interior Ministry and the National Guard and the Qatari Embassy’s staff were also present.
HM the King and Shaikh Tamim held, at the Grand Royal Protocol Hall at the base, cordial talks on the outstanding brotherly Bahraini-Qatari relations.
Then, Shaikh Tamim left to his residence at the Sakhir Palace.
A Convoy of Honour, chaired by the Minister of State for Telecommunications Affairs Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, will accompany Shaikh Tamim during his stay in the kingdom.
The Qatari Heir Apparent Shaikh Tamim made a statement in which he conveyed greetings from the Qatari Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Qatari people to HM King Hamad and other GCC leaders, wishing the GCC Summit in Manama every success in meeting the expectations of the GCC peoples.
The official delegation accompanying Shaikh Tamim includes Minister of Economy and Finance Youssef Hussain Kamel; Chairman of the Qatar Media Corporation Shaikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Atiyya; Director of the Office of the Heir Apparent Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Director of Studies and Research at the Amiri Diwan Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Fuhaid Al-Hajiri; Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Abdulla bin Thamer Al-Thani and Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, from the Office of the Heir Apparent.
