“Our confidence has proved valid over history through which Bahrainis have proved their true metal,” he said as he received a number of ministers, officials and economic functions.
During the audience, HRH Premier said that attempts to make Bahrain the weakest link and a stage to carry out suspicious and hostile schemes aiming to tamper with its national security and stability have been foiled thanks to the citizens’ honourable patriotic stances and exemplary leadership-people cohesion.
HRH Prime Minister stressed that patriotic stances must always prevail over discordant voices in order to consolidate national unity and preserve the genuine Bahraini values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence.
He urged all national sides to assume their responsibilities and participate more effectively in the national march, affirming that businessmen have, since old times, led national efforts to reinforce political stability and security, given their role as basic requirements of economic progress.
The Prime Minister underlined that collective responsibility requires economic communities to continue and step up their effective participation in national issues, pledging every support for the private sector as a vital tributary to the national economy.
HRH Premier invited all sides to join ranks in order to ensure the continuity of the national-building process and enhance economic growth, stressing that the government will meet all needs, including qualified manpower and expertise, in order to maintain the kingdom’s development and progress marches.
He also emphasized the need to take optimum advantage of openness and promote it as a catalyst to achieve more strength and progress.
In another context, HRH Premier commended the national commitment of the national press and praised its crucial role in uncovering the distortion campaigns staged against the kingdom and exposing all lies and fallacious information, expressing heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all journalists who have dedicated themselves in the service of the homeland, defended it and projected its bright image to the world.
