His Majesty welcomed them all and expressed pride in the male and female youth of Bahrain as well as the scientific, sports and voluntary activities carried out by the youth. He also expressed that through their work and effort the youth were a symbol and a source of pride for Bahrain during international events.
His Majesty the King expressed thanks and recognition for all the excellent results achieved by Bahraini Youth indicating that such achievements will help them to interact with the youth of the world and exchange experience with them. This is in addition to the honor of representing their country in various fields.
He also voiced hope for accomplishment to continue toward excellence highlighting that the success of the 21st Gulf Cup that was hosted by Bahrain came to support the Bahraini youth and encourage them through their participation in the event.
His Majesty expressed joy in meeting the youth wishing them and other sport personnel success in achieving better results during future sporting and cultural events.
The President of the General Organization for Youth and Sports, Hisham Al Jowdar, delivered a speech, in which he expressed pleasure at meeting with His Majesty the King hailing his support for the youth and sports sector and creating a suitable environment for them to flourish.
He congratulated His Majesty the King on successfully hosting the 21st Gulf Cup tournament praising Bahrain’s successive sports achievements and supporting Gulf cooperation.
Al Jowdar also said that HM the King’s care for Bahraini youngsters, has positively contributed to Bahrain’s efforts to make many achievements in various fields. He concluded his speech pledging to HM the King to exert all the efforts needed to develop the Bahraini youth and sports movement,, under HM’s wise leadership[ so as to reflect Bahrain’s true bright image.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa thanked His Majesty the King, for receiving the Kingdom’s sports and youth elite saying that it embodied His Majesty’s royal care for sports and youth movements which raised Bahrain’s international status on these 2 important sectors.
Shaikh Nasser added, that for His Majesty the King to meet with the youth of Bahrain affirmed his great pride and appreciation of their success in all regional, continental, and international events.
Shaikh Nasser went on to say that the achievements made by the youth during the era of His Majesty the King translates the sane vision of the wise leadership of the importance of investing in youth and providing them with means that would elevate their standard in the various filed so that they can add value to their country.
Shaikh Nasser said that the youth being received by His Majesty the King will provide them with a boost to exert more efforts toward achieving better results for Bahrain during world events.
