Shaikh Mohammed, who accompanied by senior officials of Tamkeen and participants opened the exhibition at Gulf International Convention Center.
Around 80 enterprises that benefited from Tamkeen’s financing, advisory and other programmes to develop their businesses are participating in the exhibition. A number of partners and certified service providers from various economic sectors are also participating in the exhibition to introduce Tamkeen programmes to the public and encourage them to benefit from these programmes.
The series of interactive workshops within the conference and exhibition also witnessed remarkable attendance on their first day. Led by prominent experts, the workshops addressed important business-related issues like: how to set real business objectives and priorities, how enhancing quality increases profitability, discovering your passion and skills to start your business, and marketing and beyond. During the second day, workshops will be held which are titled: Exhibitions – making the most of your participation, Social media toolkit – strategies for entrepreneurs, and e-tendering.
The exhibition will continue tomorrow between 8:30am and 8:30pm.
Director General of Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) Dr. Mohammed Sharif stressed strong relations with Tamkeen, mainly in carrying out joint training programmes.
Marking BTI participation in Tamkeen’s first exhibition and conference, which kick-started today under the patronage of Tamkeen Board Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Gulf Hotel Convention Centre, with the participation of 80 establishments, he praised BTI as a pioneering national institution that succeeded over the past years in boosting its status as a groomer of national human resources.
Many functions are being held on the sidelines of the event, including lectures and workshops on mainly marketing strategies, quality systems and using social media channels.
