In line with Bapco’s strategic projects and initiatives aimed at supporting the industry drives and strengthen the national economy, Adel Al Moayyed Chairman of Bapco’s Board and Acting Chief Executive opened the Distribution Point at Al Hidd Industrial area for gas supply.
Upon the unveiling of the plaque and cutting the ribbon to announce the commissioning of the new station Al Moayyed, expressed his pride in this occasion.
“The opening of new station is in line with Bapco’s directives aimed to enhance the natural gas supply in the Kingdom and meet the growing demand on gas in future,” he added.
“Bapco has an ongoing interest in launching such ambitious initiatives which serve the community and support the industry trends in Bahrain”. The new station will serve different existing and future industrial companies in Al Hidd Industrial area through provision of required gas supply with a capacity of 35 million cubic feet per day at an estimated cost of around $10 million. “Bapco continues to launch such core projects which play a pivotal role in supporting the industry drives and boosting its role as a major supporter of the national economy.”
