His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, visited the Royal Bahraini Air Defence Force (RBADF) and was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa.
HM the King inspected the Guard of Honour and was briefed on the tasks and development strides of the Royal Bahraini Air Defence Force (RBADF). The Supreme Commander met (RBADF) officers, giving his royal directives and instructions.
He hailed the efforts of the (RBADF) personnel, praising the honourable standard achieved by all BDF units, reflecting their advanced combat readiness. HM the King stressed keenness on equipping the BDF units with cutting edge weapons and military systems, commending their competence and professionalism, dedication and commitment to Islamic precepts and genuine Arab values.
“The BDF is the pillar of the nation and the bulwark that defends Bahrain’s independence, protects citizens’ security and dignity and preserves national unity”, he said. He thanked the (RBADF) commander, officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel for their dedicated efforts, wishing all BDF staff success in assuming their duties.
