Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of Bahrain’s fast growing Islamic retail banks recently announced the winners of their Al Waffer draw for the month of January 2013.
The draw, held earlier in February at KHCB’s headquarters in Bahrain Financial Harbour, was attended by members from the bank’s management team and staff in addition to a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Yasser Buallai.
Fuad Taqi, Deputy General Manager Commercial Banking, KHCB presented January’s top cash prizes of $10,000, $5,000 and $3,000 to Faeza Al Faez, S Abdulla Alwedaie and Mohamed Aljeshi respectively. Apart from the top three winners, 26 out of the remaining 37 winners won cash prizes of $1000 each and 11 were awarded with cash prizes of $500 each.
“We congratulate the winners of our January Al Waffer draw and hope that they continue to save for more chances to win in the future. KHCB’s Al Waffer Savings Account Scheme for 2013 promises its customers bigger prizes this year, worth a total value of $ 1,000,000. In addition to a Mercedes-Benz car to be won every quarter, one lucky winner will get the chance to win the Grand Prize worth $200,000 at the end of the year,” Fuad Taqi, Deputy General Manager – Commercial Banking, KHCB, said.
“With the first quarterly draw coming up in the end of March, I take this opportunity to remind our customers, that if they maintain their savings for 30 days prior to the draw, they can double their chances to win $50,000 and an incredible Mercedes-Benz car in the quarterly draw,” he added.
