In this regard, Head of the special investigation unit in the case stated that the brother of the deceased failed to attend yesterday’s investigation in order to examine his conflicting statements.
Upon admission to the hospital, his brother reported that Mahmoud Al-Jaziri fell on the ground, and when quizzed by the police he made a different statement, saying that masked people brought him home and that he was injured.
Meanwhile, forensic experts found out that the deceased was suffering from a traumatic physical injury on the left of his head, which caused a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage and led to his death despite surgical intervention.
They also found out traces of the wound being stitched.
