Thousands of citizens and residents led by Minister of Interior, Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of Southern Governorate, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Rashid Al Khalifa and a large number of leaders, officers and affiliates of the Interior Ministry, attended the funeral of the deceased policeman Mohammed Asif.
Policeman on duty was killed by the saboteurs on Thursday as result of attacking the law enforcing agencies during spate of illegal protests.
Also, clergymen, MPs, and affiliates of the Special Forces at Interior Ministry witnessed the solemn funeral procession of the martyr of duty Mohammed Aasef, at Al-Hinainiya cemetery in Riffa.
All mourners expressed their pride with Mohammed Aasef who personified sacrifice and heroism for the sake of duty in addressing the elements of terrorism and criminality, calling Almighty God to grant his soul rest in peace, attain him the level of the righteous, and to bless his family with patience and solace.
The Mourners also stressed the role and efforts of the security men in preserving security and safety for all residents and citizens, praying God to bless the injured of the security men with speedy recovery to continue their duties in serving Bahrain, its citizens and security.
