A group of University of Bahrain Students visited Bapco’s Refinery, mainly the Training and Development Department and Fire School. The visit aims to provide students with valuable information on the various operations carried out in the company, and Bapco’s role in fostering the national economy of the Kingdom.
The group was attended a lecture about noises resulted from the operations at the Refinery facilities. Moreover, the delegates were also presented with a PowerPoint show about the danger of fire and ways to overcome it.
The delegation members said that the visit was extremely useful as it provided them with valuable information and knowledge on Bapco’s operations and latest technologies. Bapco expressed pride in organizing such visits within the close cooperation and coordination with the University of Bahrain UoB to organize educational tours for students which involve useful research and scientific information for their academic studies, in addition to shedding more light on Bapco’s role as one of the leading industrial establishments in supporting the community welfare. Upon the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed thanks to Bapco management for organizing this useful and successful visit and wished Bapco further progress in fostering the national development of the Kingdom.
