A group of terrorists attacked Sitra Police Station from two sides, Central Police director-general announced.
The terrorists used iron rods, Molotov cocktails (firebombs) and stones in attacking the police station.
The security forces intervened to disperse the terrorists, foil their attack and restore public order in line with legal provisions.
The terrorists injured two of the participants in the attack on the attack on Sitra Police Station. They were taken by car to the hospital to undergo medical treatment. Police are tracking down the perpetrators to arrest them and bring them to justice to charges.
