Bahrain Intl eGovt Forum 2013 opens on Monday

His Highness, Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, will inaugurate on Monday the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2013 in its 6th edition at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa.
The event will also comprise His Highness’s inauguration of Bahrain IT Expo 2013 along with the honoring of eGovernment Excellence Award 2013 winners.
The international expert Robert Tercek, from Los Angeles – United States, will be participating for the first time in the official opening ceremony as a keynote speaker; addressing the most up-to-date trends in the field of technology at the international level.
Tercek is one of the world’s creators of interactive entertainment content at the international level in the area of television, telecommunications and software. His 22 years of expertise allows him to create breakthrough entertainment experiences in all digital platforms; including satellite television, interactive television and mobile networks.
The Bahrain IT Expo will be held 8th to 10th of April at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel (AlGhazal Ballroom); starting from 01:00PM on the 8th, and 08:30AM to 05:00PM on the 9th and 10th, April, while Forum sessions will be held on the 9th and 10th of April at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel (AlNoor Ballroom) from 08:30AM to 02:30PM.
The highly-awaited forum is organized by the eGovernment Authority in collaboration with Bahrain Internet Society and Project Management Institute – Arabian Gulf Chapter.
It is expected that the multiple events this year will attract over 700 local and international visitors.
