During the work meeting they held, HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa reviewed promoting the means to develop the economic situation in the Kingdom.
They also discussed ways to open new areas for the economy and enhance increasing productivity to strengthen the economic efficiency and the best use of financial resources, in addition to reinforcing and developing the competitive capabilities of the Kingdom.
Their Royal Highnesses stressed that the government is continuing in the modernization and developing of its policies and procedures, as well as building on the effective policies and programmes the government relies on in developing the governmental performance. They also discussed a number of proposals and alternatives which reinforce such approach, ensure developing the revenues, and diversify the sources of income, stressing their keenness on maintaining the governmental services provided to citizens to be at the highest quality.
