Minister of State for Electricity and Water Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza received Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konooz for Real Estate Investment Ahmed Salman Al-Musallam, the Managing Director of the Company, Abdul Hamid Nasser Al-Nasser, and a number of officials and investors of (Terneks). This company is one of the specialized German Companies in the area of solar energy.
The Minister was briefed on the capabilities of the company and its expertise in the solar energy, in addition to its willingness to cooperate with the Electricity and water Authority.
Dr. Mirza welcomed the representatives of the company, highlighting that Electricity and Water Authority encourages such companies and provides them with opportunities to implement projects. “Electricity and Water sector is currently working on developing alternative energy sources and the trend now is focusing on promoting specified objectives and standards to use the renewable energy within the energy projects,” Dr. Mirza said.
The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO for Planning and Projects, Dr. Khalid Burashid, and a number of officials at the Authority.
