Both the Governor of the Capital Governorate and Deputy Governor of the Russian City St. Petersburg reviewed the brotherly strong relations between the two countries in all various areas, as well as reviewing the programmes, activities and events of the Capital Governorate.
The Russian delegation presented a brief about the programmes, and plans of St. Petersburg city and the services provided to the citizens there.
Both sides discussed cooperation and coordination between them and benefiting from each other’s experience, particularly in the area of services and developing the professional performance and community partnership.
The Russian Deputy Governor expressed his admiration and appreciation for the application of community partnership in the Capital Governorate, as well as the Governor’s weekly Majles, where he receives all various sectors of society, including citizens, and residents to listen to their complaints, remarks and needs. He also admired the Governor’s field visits to the different areas in the Governorate to be informed about their needs.
“Such Gulf initiatives reinforce the family cohesion, national bonding and I also admire the officials’ keenness to meet the citizens with ease,” the Russian Deputy Governor said.
The Russian Deputy Governor invited Shaikh Hisham Bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa the Governor of the Capital Governorate to visit St. Petersburg City, and also thanked and appreciated him for the great welcome and kind hospitality, wishing Bahrain more progress, development, prosperity, security and peace under its wise leadership.
