Both sides discussed many issues and topics of mutual interest especially economic issues related to trade and investment of both countries. The meeting was attended by Bahrain Ambassador to the United Kingdom Alice Samaan and Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr. Esam Fakhro, Acting Undersecretary of Industry Affairs Osama Al Orrayedh and Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Foreign Trade Eman Al Dosari.
Dr Fakhro confirmed on the importance of such high level visits and events that enhance mutual relations especially the economic ones. The minister also noted the sincere efforts made by the leaders of countries in order to reach ambitious desired level. The minister also pointed the positive impacts of such events in exchanging experiences and information and follow up on the developments of economic affairs and mutual relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
The Minister praised the efforts made by Stephen Keith Green in deepening and enhancing bonds of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, expressing in this regard government welcome all investment and global projects that require infrastructure and qualifications that characterized currently by the Kingdom, especially under facilities provided to the private sector and investors willing to take Bahrain as a hub for their business and their industrial and commercial projects in general.
Lord Green praised the remarkable success achieved by the Bahrain British business forum held on Wednesday last which was attended by large number of British businessmen participating in the forum and their interest in Bahrain’s advantages and investment environment.
